Each year, beautiful elders die in their own homes from hypothermia caused by the extreme winter temperatures out West.

Many large households are run by elder women, who cannot afford to adequately heat their homes. Other homes are simply not equipped with proper heating capabilities.

Gathering Thunder Foundation continues to help stem the tied of deaths caused by hypothermia, by providing propane, energy efficient electric heaters, wood and now wood stoves for Native American families who are in desperate need.
